European Convergence Property CoPLC14 August 2007 14 August 2007 EUROPEAN CONVERGENCE PROPERTY COMPANY PLC ("ECPC" OR "THE COMPANY") Further to the announcement made on 1 August 2007, the Company announces that ithas today posted a circular to shareholders outlining further details of theDisposals and convening the Extraordinary General Meeting ("EGM") to approve theDisposals. The EGM will be held at Jubilee Buildings, Victoria Street, Douglas,Isle of Man IM1 2SH, British Isles on 30 August 2007 at 10.00 a.m. As the Disposals represent a "disposal resulting in a fundamental change ofbusiness" pursuant to Rule 15 of the AIM Rules for Companies, the Disposals willbe conditional upon, inter alia, the approval of the Company's shareholders atthe EGM. The EGM also includes proposals to approve a subsequent disposal of theCompany's remaining property if suitable terms can be agreed with a purchaser.The Company can give no indication as to when such a sale may occur, but it isproposing at the EGM to seek shareholder authority to sell this property on suchterms and in such way as the directors of the Company may think fit.
