Premier Research Group27 June 2007 For Immediate Release 27 June 2007 Premier Research Group plc Notice of EGM Further to the AGM statement announced on 13 June 2007, Premier Research Groupplc (AIM: PRG) ('Premier Research', 'Company' or 'Group'), the internationalpharmaceutical services group, announces that yesterday it posted to itsshareholders a notice convening an Extraordinary General Meeting ('EGM'). The sole purpose of this EGM is to approve the payment of the final dividend of0.5 pence per ordinary share as announced at the time of the PreliminaryResults, 17 April 2007, and which was inadvertently omitted from the AGM notice. The Company is keen to rectify the delay caused by this omission without furtherdelay. Therefore, by convening an EGM as soon as possible, it is anticipatedthat the final dividend will be paid only two weeks late. Recommendation The directors are unanimously of the view that it is in the best interests ofthe Company and its shareholders to pass this resolution. Accordingly, thedirectors have recommended that shareholders vote in favour of the resolution toallow the payment of a maiden final dividend, as they intend to do in respect oftheir own beneficial holdings of shares which amount to 4,787,500 sharesrepresenting some 7.96% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company. Notice of EGM The EGM will be held at 13 Milbanke Court, Milbanke Way, Bracknell, BerkshireRG12 1RP on Wednesday 11 July 2007 at 10 am for the purpose of considering andif thought fit, passing the following resolution, which will be proposed as anOrdinary Resolution: "THAT a maiden final dividend of 0.5 pence per ordinary share for the year ended31 January 2007, be declared and payable on 12 July 2007 to members whose namesappeared on the register of members at the close of business on 1 June 2007." Whether or not shareholders intend to be present at the meeting, Shareholdersare requested to complete their proxy form which should be completed andreturned so as to be received by the Company's registrars, Capita Registrars, POBox 25, Beckenham, Kent BR3 4BR, not less than 48 hours before the time fixedfor the meeting. Completion and return of the Form of Proxy will not preclude Shareholders fromattending and voting at the EGM should they so wish.
