easyJet PLC29 November 2006 easyJet plc 29 November 2006 easyJet plc Proposed purchase of 52 Airbus Aircraft, Amendment of the Airbus Contract and Notice of Extraordinary General Meeting The Board of easyJet announced on 14 November 2006 that easyJet had exercisedits right to acquire a further 52 A319 aircraft under existing options containedin an agreement with Airbus G.I.E ("Airbus") dated 30 December 2002 (the "AirbusContract") and had also agreed certain amendments to the Airbus Contract subjectto shareholder approval. Shareholder approval is being sought at anExtraordinary General Meeting of easyJet to be held at 10.00 a.m. on 14 December2006 at easyLand, London Luton Airport, Bedfordshire LU2 9LS. A circular containing further information on the exercise of options and theamendments to the Airbus Contract was posted to shareholders yesterday.
