BASE RESOURCES LIMITEDNOTICE OF CHANGE OF INTERESTS OF SUBSTANTIAL SHAREHOLDER

Base Resources Limited (ASX & AIM: BSE) (“Base”) advises that substantial shareholder, Genesis Asset Managers, LLP, today provided notification to the Australian Securities Exchange that it currently holds an interest in 33,920,453 ordinary shares in Base representing 6.02% of the company's issued share capital. This follows the on-market net acquisition of 5,798,726 ordinary shares during the period 24 September 2013 to 8 July 2015 at an average price of US$0.27 per ordinary share, since its last notification on 8 July 2014.
