NOTICE OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING
The board of directors (the "Board") of Datang International Power Generation Co., Ltd. (the "Company") hereby announces that a meeting of the Board will be convened on 26 August 2008 (Tuesday) to consider and approve, among others, the unaudited 2008 interim results of the Company and its subsidiaries for the six months ended 30 June 2008.
