ANNOUNCEMENT OF BOARD MEETING DATE AND CLOSED PERIOD OF DIAMOND BANK PLC

This is to inform the Nigerian Stock Exchange that a meeting of the Board of Directors of Diamond Bank Plc has been scheduled to hold on Thursday, the 9th day of March, 2017 at 10.00am in Lagos to consider and approve the Group's Audited Financial Statement for the year ended 31st December, 2016, along with other agenda items.

The Company has declared the Closed Period from 22nd day of February, 2017 to the 1st day of April, 2017 (both days inclusive) as required under Rule 17.2 of the Amendment to Listing Rules of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

Accordingly, no director, employee, person discharging managerial responsibility and adviser of the Company and their connected persons may directly or indirectly, deal in the shares of the Company in any manner during the closed period.
