Further to the publication of the Vedanta Resources plc Annual Report and Accounts FY2017 on its website on 4 July 2017, the Company has today made the following documents also available to shareholders.

· Notice of 2017 Annual General Meeting; and

· Sustainable Development Report 2016-17

The posting to shareholders of the Annual Report and Accounts FY2017 and Notice of the 2017 Annual General Meeting has commenced and in accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.1, copies have been submitted to the UK Listing Authority and will shortly be available for inspection from the National Storage Mechanism, which can be accessed at www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/NSM.

The Company's 2017 Annual General Meeting will be held at 3.00 p.m. on 14 August 2017 at The Lincoln Centre, 18 Lincoln's Inn Fields, London WC2A 3ED.
