Notice of Annual General Meeting

Subsequent to the announcement regarding the AGM held on 18 July 2011, it has come to the Company's attention that, following the elections made by shareholders to receive documents from the Company in either electronic or paper form in September 2009, there remains doubt as to whether the notice to the Annual General Meeting had been received by all shareholders. Powerhouse recognises the importance of good corporate governance and the Directors have therefore decided to reconvene its Annual General Meeting.

Powerhouse confirms that its Financial Statements for the year ended 31 December 2010 were signed on 24 June 2011 and subsequently printed and posted to those shareholders who had requested hard copies.

An electronic copy of the financial statements is also available on the Company's website at http://www.powerhouseenergy.net/IRM/content/investors_financial.html.

Notice of the reconvened Annual General Meeting of the Company, to be held at 10.00 a.m. on 19 September 2011 at the offices of Merchant Securities Limited at 51-55 Gresham Street, London, EC2V 7HQ, has been posted to shareholders today.
