Sunplus Board of Directors Proposed Not to Distribute Dividendsand Announced Annual General Meeting 2014

Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan, March 24, 2014 - Sunplus Technology Co., Ltd. ("Sunplus" or "the Company") (TAIEX: 2401, LSE: SUPD) today held a meeting of the Board of Directors and Supervisors, at which the board proposed not to distribute dividends of 2013 profits.

The 2014 Sunplus Annual Shareholders' Meeting will be held in Newton Hall of Science Park Life Hub, No.1, Industrial East Road 2, Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan at 9:00 AM, on Wednesday, June 11, 2014. Invitations to the shareholders will be sent 30 days prior to the date of the shareholders' meeting by mail. The shareholders' register shall be closed for registration of transfer during April 13 to June 11, 2014. The brief meeting agenda is as follows:
