Notice of Annual General Meeting

Shareholders are hereby advised that the Annual General Meeting ("AGM") of the Company is to be held on 12 August 2016 at the offices of Central Rand Gold, CRG Slot 8, 10 Spencer Road, Robertville, Roodepoort, South Africa at 11.00 a.m. (UK time). Shareholders in the United Kingdom wishing to participate in the AGM via conference call may do so at the offices of K&L Gates, One New Change, London, EC4M 9AF.

The Notice of the Annual General Meeting as well as the Proxy form to be used by both South African and United Kingdom shareholders at the AGM can be accessed on the Company's website at www.centralrandgold.com. The Company's audited Annual Report for the financial year ended 31 December 2015 was published on 30 June 2016.
