Atlantic Coal plc, the AIM listed open cast coal production and processing company, announces that the 2010 Annual General Meeting will be held at the London Marriot Hotel Park Lane, 140 Park Lane, London W1K 7AA at 9:30 am on Wednesday, 30 June 2010.

The Company's annual report and financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2009 will be posted to the shareholders today.

The Notice of Meeting and proxy card will be posted with the annual report and financial statements and all documents can be downloaded from the Company's website at www.atlanticcoal.com in accordance with AIM Rule 26.
