Notice of a claim against the Company
Treatt announces that the sellers of the Earthoil Group, which was acquired by the Company in April 2008, have filed a claim in the Chancery Division of the High Court against Treatt for £1.8m. Treatt has received that claim today.
The claim relates to various matters in respect of the Earn-out, being the deferred consideration payable to the sellers in respect of the acquisition of the Earthoil Group. The Company confirms that the claim will be defended vigorously as the Board considers that no sums are due to the sellers in relation to this claim.
