Notice Concerning Earthquake in Japan
Japan Residential Investment Company Limited is an authorised closed-ended investment company incorporated in Guernsey and established to make and hold investments in residential property in Japan. The Company, its subsidiaries and entities in which it has a beneficial interest are referred to collectively as "the Fund".
A major earthquake occurred in the Tohoku region (the "Earthquake") in the north east of the island of Honshu, Japan at approximately 2:46 pm on 11 March 2011 (Japan Standard Time).
The Company would like to extend its condolences to all the victims of the Earthquake.
Following the Earthquake, property management companies have conducted inspections of all Fund properties. Based on these reports, it appears there has been no serious damage to Fund properties as a result of the Earthquake. In the event of any occurrence of damage that has a material impact on Fund operations, an announcement will be made.
