This is with effect from 1st October and initialestimates indicate a conservative uptake of approximately £100k per annum. ActivHeal(R) is a value range of advanced woundcare dressings specificallydesigned by AMS for use on routine wounds. Independent technical and clinicalassessment has shown that the ActivHeal(R) products are equivalent to thebranded versions in performance whilst significantly reducing the cost oftreatment. ActivHeal(R) offers real and immediate savings to the NHS of approximately £25million per year. These savings on the treatment of routine wounds areavailable to ensure that the new technologies needed for problematic cases areaffordable within current budgets. As a UK based R & D and manufacturingcompany, AMS is also involved in delivering new innovative woundcaretechnologies to the market through its branded marketing and distributionpartners.
