Millennium & Copthorne Hotels PLC04 May 2006 4 May 2006 Millennium & Copthorne Hotels plc Appoints Non-Executive Director Millennium & Copthorne Hotels plc is pleased to announce the appointment ofChristopher Keljik OBE, as a non-executive director with immediate effect. Inaddition to joining the Board, Mr Keljik will sit on the Remuneration, Audit andNominations committees. In May 2005, he retired from his position as Group Executive Director ofStandard Chartered plc after a long career with the company that commenced in1976. During his career with Standard Chartered, Mr Keljik held a number ofsenior positions in corporate finance, treasury and general management in theUK, USA and the Far East. Immediately prior to his retirement, hisresponsibilities at Standard Chartered included its businesses in Africa, theMiddle East, South Asia, the UK and the Americas. A Chartered Accountant, his previous responsibilities have also included riskmanagement, audit, corporate affairs, investor relations and corporategovernance. Mr Keljik currently holds non-executive directorships at Foreign & ColonialInvestment Trust plc and Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group plc.
