Non-Executive Director Changes

Source BioScience plc (LSE: SBS) the international laboratory services and products business, announces that Tim Jackson-Smith will join the Board as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

Tim is an experienced corporate and commercial lawyer with 20 years' experience in legal practice, including ten years as a Partner. In addition, Tim has significant, relevant experience in the plc environment, having served for more than eight years in both executive and non-executive director roles at a number of main market and AIM listed companies.

The Company also announces that Dr Sue Foden, Senior Independent Director, will be stepping down from the Board at the conclusion of her current term of appointment on 31 August 2015.

Information required to be disclosed pursuant to paragraph 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules is as follows:

Tim is currently a non-executive director of Bglobal plc (appointed 1 September 2008). Bglobal plc was quoted on AIM until 2 September 2014 when it was de-listed.

Until January 2010, Tim was a partner at the law firm Halliwells LLP. In July 2010 Halliwells LLP entered administration and subsequently liquidation, which remains ongoing. At the time Halliwells entered administration there were over 100 partners and there have been no criticisms or findings against Tim in any reports relating to this matter.

Tim was a director of Knowledge Management Software plc, a software and services company. Tim left the company in October 2001 and it went into administration in September 2002. There were no criticisms/findings against Tim in any of the reports in relation to the insolvency.
