Non-Executive Director Appointment
JUST EAT plc (LSE: JE.), the world's leading digital marketplace for takeaway food, today announces the appointment of Diego Oliva as an independent Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 24 September 2015. Mr Oliva has also been appointed as a member of the Company's Audit, Nomination and Remuneration Committees.
Diego Oliva has extensive international experience in executive roles in the technology, digital marketing and mobile sectors, having spent six years as Regional Director at Facebook, where he built teams, business partnerships and operations in Southern, Central and Eastern Europe, the Benelux and the Middle East and Africa. Mr Oliva is currently co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Glue Home, a digital smart lock company. He has also previously held senior managerial and executive roles with Tradedoubler, between 2000 and 2008, latterly becoming Regional Director of Southern and Central Europe and the Benelux.
Mr Oliva serves as Limited Partner and Advisor at Earlybird Venture Capital, White Star Capital and Wamda Capital, VC funds. He holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from Tec de Monterrey, Mexico, a Master of Science degree in Economics from Stockholm University and a General Management post graduate degree from Harvard Business School.
