QinetiQ Group plc announces that Mark Elliott, Non-executive Chairman, retired as a Non-Executive Director (and as Senior Independent Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee) of G4S plc with effect from the end of that company's Annual General Meeting on 26 May 2016.

This notification is made in accordance with paragraph 9.6.14R of the Listing Rules.
