Nominations to the interim Board of Directors

PJSC Polyus (LSE, MOEX - PLZL) ("Polyus" or the "Company") announces that following persons have been nominated for election to the Board of Directors of the Company (the "Board") at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of PJSC Polyus ("EGM") to be held on 06 June 2022:

1) Akhmet Palankoyev (indirect shareholder of 29.99% of the Company's share capital, nominated by its subsidiary company, AKROPOL GROUP LTD)

2) Alexey Vostokov (CEO of Polyus, nominated by the Board)

3) Vladimir Polin (COO of Polyus, nominated by the Board)

4) Mikhail Stiskin (CFO of Polyus, nominated by the Board)

5) Julia Andronovskaya (VP for Human Resources & Organizational Development, nominated by the Board)

6) Feliks Itskov (VP for Commerce and Logistics, nominated by the Board)

7) Stanislav Pisarenko (VP for Legal and Property Affairs, nominated by the Board)

8) Anton Rumyantsev (VP for Strategy and Business Development, nominated by the Board)

9) Victor Drozdov (Director for Communications & Investor Relations , nominated by the Board)

Interim Board

As previously emphasized, the EGM is expected to elect the new interim Board consisting of nine members, as required by the Polyus' Charter and applicable legislation.

Interim Board will continue the process of identifying potential candidates to fill the roles of Independent Directors and shall put the list of nominations to the Board to shareholders for approval at the Company's Annual General Meeting ("AGM").

Polyus confirms its intention to form the Board majorly comprised by Independent Directors following the approval of candidates at the AGM.
