New Vein Discovered at Paguanta

(Zinc-Lead-Silver-Gold Project in Northern Chile)

Herencia Resources Plc (AIM: HER) is pleased to advise that the first two holes drilled in the current diamond drill program at the Company's flagship Paguanta Project in northern Chile have intersected visible mineralisation, including massive sulphides.

The mineralisation was intersected over a 13.8m down hole interval in PTDD035 and 13.5m down-hole interval in PTDD036, from 148m and 139.5m respectively. These two holes were drilled approximately 80m east and 80m west of a drill hole that intersected high grade mineralisation in 2008. The two holes confirm the presence of a new, the fifth, vein at Paguanta located approximately 75m south of the high grade Cathedral vein.

The core is currently being logged and cut on site. The samples will be sent to the assay laboratory for analysis as soon as practical. First assay results will likely be available in early April.

Drilling has now commenced on the third hole of the program, testing for a western extension to the known high grade Cathedral vein.

Commenting on the results, Managing Director Michael Bohm stated:

"We are very encouraged to intersect mineralisation so early in the program. Our primary objective in this drill campaign is to target possible high grade extensions to the Cathedral vein however we felt that mineralisation previously intersected in a drill hole located south of the Cathedral vein warranted early follow-up, and we appear to have been rewarded.

It remains our belief that we are just scratching the surface of Paguanta's potential and with yet another vein identified, we remain excited about what is yet to be discovered".
