TENANCY AGREEMENT
CSF, the leading provider of data centre facilities and services in South East Asia and one of the largest providers of data centre services in Malaysia is pleased to announce that it has entered into a tenancy agreement with Masterplan MyCenter Sdn Bhd ("MMC") for the rental of 17,500 square feet of space at the CX2 data centre for a period of three years commencing 16 March 2011.
MMC is a company established by Dato' Ahmad Faris, the founder and Chief Executive of Masterplan Consulting Sdn Bhd ("MCSB"), a supplier of information and communications technology equipment and solutions including data centre equipment and services focusing on the security and defence sector. MCSB has undertaken projects for various ministries and agencies of the Malaysian government including the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Royal Malaysian Police and the Ministry of Education. MCSB was recently appointed by the Ministry of Defence to develop and manage the first defence and security technology park in South East Asia. MCSB will also be responsible to market the initiative to Malaysian and international investors.
The execution of this tenancy agreement will now increase the occupancy rate of CX2, located in the Cyberjaya area of Malaysia, to approximately 83.5%.
CSF remains in negotiation with other potential tenants with regard to agreements which will ensure that CX2 is close to full occupancy by the end of the current financial year (ending March 2011).
