SDL PLC - New Senior Independent Director

SDL PLC, the leader in Global Information Management Solutions, has today announced that David Clayton has succeeded John Matthews as the nominated Senior Independent Director of SDL PLC (the "Company").

The appointment is an outcome of the board succession planning process.

David Clayton was appointed an Independent Director of the Company in December 2009 and is currently Chairman of the Audit Committee. He is currently the Group Director of Strategy and Corporate Development for The Sage Group plc in addition to his Independent Director role with SDL plc.
