ETFS Commodity Securities Limited18 September 2007 18 September 2007 ETFS Commodity Securities Limited - RIS Announcement Issue of New Prospectus and Other Changes On Tuesday 18 September 2007 ETFS Commodity Securities Limited (the "Issuer")published a Prospectus (the "New Prospectus") describing changes made to itsprogramme for the issue of commodity securities ("Commodity Securities") sincethe last Prospectus was published on 21 September 2006. However a summary ofthe changes is provided below: Amendments to the Programme's Documentation By a Supplemental Trust Instrument between the Issuer and The Law DebentureTrust Corporation p.l.c. (as trustee on behalf of the holders of CommoditySecurities) certain changes to the conditions of Commodity Securities have beenmade in order to allow for the issue of new classes of Commodity Securities.Such amendments will become effective from 27 September 2007. The changes to the conditions of the Commodity Securities will have no materialeffect on existing holders of Commodity Securities. The new conditions and details of the new classes are set out in full in the NewProspectus. Background about ETFS Commodity Securities ETFS Commodity Securities are financial instruments designed to enable investorsto gain exposure to a total return from an investment in individual commodities(through Individual Securities) or baskets of commodities (through IndexSecurities) similar to the returns in investing in futures contracts. CommoditySecurities were first listed on the SETSmm platform of London Stock Exchange on27 September 2006. The Issuer currently has US$1.52 billion in assets undermanagement. They provide investors with an exposure similar to that which aninvestor could achieve by managing an unleveraged long position in near-termfutures contracts.
