Latchways PLC15 October 2007 Latchways plc New Product Launch Latchways, the designer and manufacturer of fall protection systems for workingat height, is pleased to announce the launch of its Retractable Lifeline productrange at the US National Safety Council exhibition beginning on 15th October inChicago. Retractable Lifelines are used to provide fall protection in a wide range ofwork situations. Typically attached to an anchorage point above the worker, theLifeline allows smooth controlled movement in any direction, but an internalbraking mechanism immediately locks in the event of a fall. Latchways' comprehensive range of Retractable Lifelines, which include a numberof patented features, reinvent the way Retractables perform, bringing a wholenew level of functionality and serviceability. Feedback from end users duringfield trials earlier this year has been exceptionally positive.
