CERES MEDIA PRODUCTS APPROVED BY EUROPES LARGEST MEDIA OWNERS
CBS OUTDOOR AND JCDECAUX APPROVE CERES PRODUCTS AFTER EXTENSIVE TRIALS
Ceres Media International plc ("Ceres Media") is pleased to announce that its TierraFilmTM Backlit range of environmentally friendly print products have been tested and approved for use in the outdoor back lit advertising units owned by both JCDecaux and CBS Outdoor. CBS Outdoor is part of CBS Corporation, one of the world's largest media groups with over $2 Billion of revenue generated from their outdoor division alone. In the UK CBS Outdoor operates the entire London Underground infrastructure as well as various rail, transport assets and Westfield Shopping Centres. JCDecaux is Europe's largest out of home company and number one globally for street furniture and transport advertising. JCDecaux operates over 1 million advertising panels globally in 55 countries and has revenues in excess of 2 billion Euros. In the UK JCDecaux operates a multitude of formats in the roadside, rail and retail environment.
Both companies tested the products for suitability for their back-lit units in terms of print quality, robustness, light diffusion qualities and compatibility with posting infrastructure. On all these counts TierraFilmTM Backlit performed to their required standards and is now approved for use in these units.
Commenting on the approval by CBS Outdoor and JCDecaux, Alex Dowdeswell, CEO of Ceres Media International said: "With the recent announcement of the successful approval by Hewlett Packard of our products for use on all of their commercial printers, these approvals from CBS Outdoor and JCDecaux, who are the ultimate end users of our products, means that the advertisers and brand owners can finally adopt our products for their campaigns."
"It has taken a significant amount of time to complete these rigorous tests and until approval was gained by these billboard owners, we have been unable to access this marketplace as even if an advertiser or brand owner wished to use our materials for a campaign they have been unable to do so."

Notes to Editors:
Ceres Media is a specialist materials company producing natural biodegradable materials for the print industry. The company is dedicated to providing sustainable and compostable alternatives for the petroleum-based materials such as vinyl which are used extensively by the print industry for major corporations advertising their products. Petroleum- based materials such as vinyl do not degrade readily and have to be disposed of in landfill with an obvious negative impact on the environment. The materials that Ceres Media have developed have the same print quality as vinyl, do not require modifications to exiting printing machines in normal use and are cost competitive with respect to vinyl. These products can, however be composted once an advertising campaign has been completed and do not have any adverse impact on the environment.
