New Greek Parliament contract

Globo plc26 February 2008 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 26 February 2008 GLOBO plc €0.6M CONTRACT FOR THE PARLIAMENT OF GREECE Globo plc ("Globo" or the "Company"; LSE-AIM: GBO), a leader in the Information and Communications Technology market in Greece, announces that it has signed a €622,000 contract with the Parliament of Greece as part of a project with a total value of €1.7 million. Globo, in partnership with Info-Quest S.A. and AMS, will provide specialised software, services and equipment for digitalising and documenting newspapers, maps, books and other documents that form part of the Parliament of Greece Library. The project will use Globo's software products including 'CITRON Digital Library' together with book scanners and microfilm archive writers provided by Zeutschel GmbH for which Globo is the sole agent for Greece and Cyprus. The collection of works that will be digitalised include 70,000 book volumes andapproximately 7,000 Greek and foreign newspapers and magazines. Within the framework of this project, 10,000 rare books dating from 1471 to 1850 will also be digitalised along with rare maps, historic prototypes of the Constitutions of the Greek Nation and protocols for the oaths taken by the Kings of Greece and Presidents of the Hellenic Republic. This is a one year project with the bulk of the revenues being earned in 2008.
