New Distribution Agreement in Southeast Asia
SerVision (AIM: SEV), the AIM quoted developer and manufacturer of digital security systems, is pleased to announce that Servision Inc., the Company's wholly owned operating subsidiary in the United States of America, has entered into a distribution agreement with a newly established systems integrator in South East Asia (the "Distributor") and has appointed this company as an exclusive distributor of SerVision's US-manufactured video gateway products in Indonesia (the "Agreement").
The Distributor is a newly formed company that is managed by an established team of professionals who have extensive prior experience in Indonesia developing GPS tracking solutions for police and oil distributors, and deploying CCTV security solutions for a range of market applications in the government and banking sectors.
Under the terms of the Agreement, the Distributor will have exclusivity over the distribution of all of the Company's video gateway products in Indonesia and they have committed to an order schedule comprising three purchase orders with an aggregate value of US$450,000.
SerVision has received an initial purchase order from the Distributor with an aggregate value of US$100,000 of which the full amount in cash has been paid to SerVision. Pursuant to the Agreement the Distributor has also agreed to submit additional purchase orders with an aggregate value of $350,000 over a 37 month period according to an order schedule and pricings as detailed in the Agreement.
The products being supplied to the Distributor from SerVision fall across its entire range of video gateway solutions with an emphasis on fixed and mobile systems for fleets and remotely located sites. The Company will also be promoting the SVControlCenter, SerVision's enterprise-level video monitoring software platform, as well as the SVProxy server solution, a proprietary server designed to overcome a range of cellular network related challenges.
Gidon Tahan, Chairman and CEO of SerVision, commented, "We are pleased to enter into this new distribution agreement covering a new geography for SerVision and to further deploy our mobile video streaming technology for the purpose of securing buses, trucks, police patrol cars, public safety vehicles, fuel haulers, remotely located critical infrastructure sites and others. We are confident that our agreement and relationship with the new distributor will help SerVision further enhance the reach of its market leading digital video products into South East Asia."
Update on distribution agreement with Beijing SIVI Technology Co., Ltd
On 16 July 2014 SerVision announced that they had entered into a distribution agreement appointing Beijing SIVI Technology Co., Ltd ("BST") as exclusive distributor of SerVision's video gateway products in China. SerVision announced that they had received an initial purchase order from BST with an aggregate value of US$500,000 of which US$271,825 in cash had been paid to SerVision with the remaining balance of US$228,175 of the initial purchase order to be paid 3 days after BST grants the China Compulsory Product Certification ("CCPC") but no later than 31 October 2014. BST has not yet granted the CCPC and therefore the balance of US$228,175 has not yet been received by SerVision. SerVision is working with BST to obtain the relevant approvals. The Company will make further update announcements on the distribution agreement with BST as required.
