New Customer Orders
SerVision (AIM: SEV), a leader in mobile live video streaming over wireless and cellular networks, is pleased to announce that the Company's UK subsidiary, SerVision UK Limited, has been awarded two new customer orders for its IVG400-N system, the Company's cutting-edge High Definition mobile video gateway system, following its strategic decision to target the UK bus and coach sector.
Following a six week trial period, the Company has received a purchase order for £120,000 to supply 59 units of the IVG400-N system to Skills Motor Coaches Ltd ("Skills Coaches"), a major East Midlands coach company based in Nottingham with a fleet of over 150 vehicles. The contract also includes three years of data plan and technical support.
Paul Harper, Group Compliance Manager, Skills Coaches, commented, "We are pleased to announce our new partnership with SerVision UK Ltd. We chose their IVG400 system due to the market leading full HD interior and exterior recording equipment, which ensures we are in the best position to defend any fraudulent insurance claims, along with the added benefit of increased staff and passenger protection.
"The equipment will also allow us to view 'live' camera feeds, whether our coaches are travelling in the UK or in Europe, along with the ability to download evidence quality footage directly via the mobile network. This will ensure our insurers are provided with supporting CCTV evidence for any incidents within a matter of minutes of them occurring, which in itself makes it a worthwhile investment.
"With SerVision's extensive support network, which a fleet of this size needs, we are confident that this is only the first stage of our commercial partnership."
The Company is also pleased to announce that after four months of trials against three other major and existing suppliers, it has received a purchase order for £28,000 to supply an initial 10 systems to be installed onto new buses being built for the City of Cardiff Council Transport Department. A second purchase order for another 10 system is expected to be received in early 2017.
Gidon Tahan, Chairman and CEO of SerVision, commented, "After our successful entry into the UK private sector in 2016, these orders signal a significant move into a new market segment for us, and one which could open further opportunities for our UK team, led by Gary Higham. There are over 100,000 buses in the UK that could benefit from the increased protection offered by live streaming provided by our systems and we are currently in discussions with a number of other bus and coach companies, including those businesses who run bus fleets for local UK councils."
