MOTIVE TELEVISION PLC (the "Company" or "Motive")

Irish subsidiary signs television series contract with RTÉ Television

Motive announces that its 100%-owned subsidiary Motive Television Ltd, based in Dublin, has been contracted by Irish broadcaster RTÉ to produce a six-part series called "Summer in the Sun - The J1".

The observational documentary series will track the fortunes of a group of young Irish students as they seek work in the U.S.A. under the Irish/U.S. J1 Visa Scheme. The Motive Television cameras will follow three groups of students (one each from Dublin, Galway and Dundalk as they travel to America to find accommodation and summer jobs.)

The series will be shot in Hawaii, Chicago and San Diego during the summer of 2008.

The Executive Producer is Anne McLoughlin, the Series Producer is Bob Kelly and the Producer is Jamie d'Alton.

The series was commissioned by RTÉ's Commissioning Editor for Entertainment and Music Programmes, Eddie Doyle.
