Appian, which won the contract after a competitive tender process, willintegrate its system into the regional police system, installing 21 advancedCobra ANPR cameras to cover a number of key trunk roads. All data collected willbe linked via a wireless network, also installed by Appian, to police computersrunning the Company's Talon neural network recognition engine.
