mirada plc, the AIM-quoted audiovisual interaction specialist, is delighted toannounce another successful deployment of its Navi product.

AXTEL, one of Mexico's largest telecommunications providers has launched itspay TV service, AXTEL TV. AXTEL is offering a state of the art hybrid solutionwhich combines IPTV broadcast channels, on-demand (VoD, time-shift and networkpersonal video recorder) and interactive content via IP, along with access tofree-to-air DTT broadcasts channels.

AXTEL TV uses Navi, mirada's content navigation tool, which is deployed viamirada's global partnership agreement with Ericsson. Navi is a complete set ofinteractive navigational services providing AXTEL TV subscribers with a newenjoyable TV experience, "TV sin Horarios", including time-shift features suchas restart, pause, or record the programs desired.

Under mirada's agreement with Ericsson, in addition to the set-up fees alreadyreceived, mirada will earn licence fees dependent on the number of subscriberssigning up to the service plus annual support and maintenance fees from thedate of launch of the service.
