New Articles of Association

HSBC BANK PLC - NEW ARTICLES OF ASSOCIATION

HSBC Bank plc, a wholly owned subsidiary of HSBC Holdings plc, amended its Articles of Association at a General Meeting held at short notice on Wednesday, 20 October 2010.

As required by the UK Listing Authority, a copy of the document has been submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available for inspection at the UK Listing Authority's Document Viewing Facility, via the National Storage Mechanism which is located at: http://www.hemscott.com/nsm.do.
