Frontier Mining Ltd07 February 2007 Frontier Mining Ltd ("Frontier" or "the Company") Frontier Strengthens Management Team Frontier is pleased to announce the appointment of a team of key technical andfinancial advisors to the Company. Mr Nurdin Damitov is appointed as ExecutiveVice President Dr Robert Cameron has been appointed as Vice President,Technical Services, Mr Duncan Gray will act as Frontier's General Counsel and MrPaul McKay as the Company's Finance Manager. Mr Askhat Mukazhanov is appointedas President, FML Kazakhstan ("FMLK"), Frontier's wholly owned subsidiary. MrMike Martin, Dr Peter Pollard, Dr Chris Wilson and Mr Serik Utegen have beenappointed as Technical Advisors to the Board. Mr Nurdin Damitov, Executive Vice President, Frontier Mining Ltd. will beprimarily responsible for corporate, legal and government relations inKazakhstan. Mr. Damitov is currently a Director of Sokol Holdings Inc., wherehe has been involved in various oil, gas, and mineral consulting activities andIPO's. He has experience of banking and finance from his time as a Director ofPriceWaterHouseCoopers (Kazakhstan), as a board member of Halyk Bank and throughhis work as an Assistant Chairman of the National Securities Commission of theRepublic of Kazakhstan. Mr Damitov holds a Law degree from the University ofColombia, New York. Dr Robert Cameron, Vice President, Technical Services, Frontier Mining Ltd. willbe responsible for all of the technical aspects of the Company's operationsincluding exploration, mining, and processing, and will have overallresponsibility for the Naimanjal operations. Dr Cameron, was formerly theWorldwide Director of Geostatistics and Mine Planning with Behre Dolbear and hasheld positions with Terra Tek, Inc., the US Bureau of Mines and was an AssociateProfessor at the Colorado School of Mines. Dr Cameron is a recognised expert inmineral resource estimation, with 30 years experience in geostatistical analysisof ore reserves, and has provided technical assistance to optimise and improvethe cash-flow and operating performance of mining operations in a variety ofcountries including Colombia, Chile, Russia, and Canada. Mr Duncan Gray, General Counsel, Frontier Mining Ltd. will be responsible forall corporate and legal activities. Mr. Gray is currently Senior Consultant atAkin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP ("Akin Gump") and has extensive experience inmining transactions, with a focus in the Former Soviet Union ("FSU"). Hebrings a wealth of legal experience to the Company, having acted as principalcounsel for Kyrgyzaltyn in the development of the Kumtor Gold Project inKyrgyzstan from 1993 to 1995 as well as for various mining companies and otherprivate investors on other major FSU mining projects. In addition, he has beenextensively involved in oil and gas and electric power generation anddistribution projects in Kazakhstan. Before joining Akin Gump, Mr. Gray was apartner in the international corporate and natural resources practice at King &Spalding in Houston and the partner in charge of the Houston office of MayerBrown Rowe & Maw, where he established the firm's FSU practice. Mr Paul McKay, Finance Manager, Frontier Mining Ltd. will be responsible for theCompany's planning, budgeting, tax, financial audit, and financial management.Mr. McKay is ACCA qualified with 16 years experience in accounting, financialmanagement, business process development and ERP implementations. His experiencehas largely been gained with multinational corporations across the globe,including five years in the FSU. Mr McKay was recently Principal Consultant forSystems Union before providing consultancy services to Frontier Mining in 2006. Mr Askhat Mukazhanov, President, FML Kazakhstan was the Company's financialcontroller and will remain responsible for financial audit, tax, licensing,permitting, and human resources. He was previously Financial Controller withKazkommerts Group, Kazakhstan's largest private banking and industrial holdinggroup. Mr Mukazhanov has over ten years experience in accounting and financialmanagement, which includes working as an auditor with Deloitte and Touche. MrMukazhanov has been involved in audits of multinational corporations acrossKazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgystan and Russia. Mr Mike Martin, Technical Advisor to the Board, is a Senior Associate andPrincipal with Behre Dolbear & Company, Inc. who is making his servicesavailable to Frontier, with over 40 years of experience in the areas ofengineering, operations, management, exploration, acquisitions and developmentin the mineral industry, principally in the mining of gold, copper, andmolybdenum. Mr Martin has had responsibility for open pit mine capital andoperating costs, infrastructure, and organisation. In addition, Mr Martin hasbeen responsible for all mining related items, including mine schedules, orecontrol, mine equipment, cash flow forecast reviews, and site managementassessment. For the past 20 years he has primarily been involved with goldmining in the U.S. and fifteen other countries. Dr Peter Pollard, Technical Advisor to the Board, is an industry recognisedexpert in porphyry, skarn and high sulphidation Cu-Au mineralisation andassociated secondary deposits, and has worked as a consultant at many depositsincluding Escondida Norte, Grasberg, Oyu Tolgoi, and deposits in the Binghamdistrict. Dr. Pollard also has significant iron-oxide copper-gold experience inAustralia, Brazil, Northern Chile, and Peru. Dr Pollard is a Member of theAustralian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and a Fellow of the Society ofEconomic Geologists. Dr Chris Wilson, Technical Advisor to the Board, is an independent consultantwho has managed a Central Asian portfolio of copper-gold exploration licensestotaling over 11 million hectares. A geologist with over 15 years of variedindustry experience, Dr Wilson specialises in the design, implementation andmanagement of grass-roots exploration through to resource definition drilling,area selection and project acquisition, and implementation of best practice andQC/QA. Dr Wilson has previously worked throughout South East Asian, CentralAsia and Eastern Europe, and has more recently been focused in the FSU. DrWilson is also a Chartered Fellow of the Australian Institute of Mining andMetallurgy and a Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists. Mr Serikjan Utegen, Technical Advisor to the Board, is currently a Director ofSokol Holdings, Inc. and Acting Chairman of Sunkar Resources Ltd. Mr Utegenpreviously held the positions of Director of Operations and then President forKKM Holding JSC developing three oil fields in Western Kazakhstan, and hasexperience in management of exploration, financing and corporate development. Hehas worked for a range of Kazakhstan oil companies, including the position ofHead of the Transportation Department of KazTransOil National Oil PipelineUtility of Kazakhstan. Mr Utegen holds a degree in Applied Mathematics from theAl Farabi State University of Kazakhstan.
