New Accounting Ref Date - replacement

The following amendment has been made to the new accounting reference date announcement released on 2 July 2014 at 9.14am under RNS No 1988L.

The year-end date for 2014 and 2015 was incorrect and have been amended.

Change of accounting reference date - J Sainsbury plc

In accordance with section LR9.6.20 of the Listing Rules the accounting reference date for J Sainsbury plc will be changed from 20 March to 13 March.

The year-end date for 2014/15 financial year will be 14 March 2015 (2013/14: 15 March 2014).
