Unaudited net asset value per share at 30 April 2009
Caledonia Investments plc ("Caledonia" or "the company") announces that its unaudited diluted net asset value ("NAV") per ordinary share as at 30 April 2009, calculated on a cum-income basis, was 1648p, before the deduction of a final dividend to be proposed by the directors in relation to the year ended 31 March 2009.
Unquoted investments, which represent approximately 30% of the unaudited NAV as at 30 April 2009, are unadjusted from their carrying amounts as at 31 March 2009, except for subsequent investments and realisations.
The monthly reported NAV per ordinary share, together with performance statistics and information on the valuation of principal investments, is available on Caledonia's website at www.caledonia.com.
