15.03.2016

NCSP Group (LSE: NCSP, MOEX: NMTP) hereby reports, that its consolidated cargo turnover for 2M 2016 increased 2.3% year-on-year and reached 23.8 million tonnes.

Liquid cargo volumes totaled 18.6 mln tonnes, bulk cargo amounted to 2.1 mln tonnes, general cargo comprised 2.2 mln tonnes, and containers accounted for 0.9 mln tonnes or 81.5 thousand TEU.

Commenting on the operating results for 2M 2016 CEO of PJSC NCSP Sultan Batov said: «Group's terminals deliver stable performance at 11.9 million tons of cargo per month. Meanwhile in January 2016 we increased transshipment of key cargoes like oil products, grain, and ferrous metals by 3.4%, 38.8%, and 16.2% respectively versus January 2016.

Oil products are up 199 thousand tonnes or 3.6% year-on-year; grain is up 269 thousand tonnes or 30.9% year-on-year; and iron ore is up 241 thousand tonnes or 117.4% year-on-year. This amounted to total increase of cargo traffic by 546 thousand tonnes or 2.3% year-on-year».

Liquid Cargo

In January-February 2016 NCSP Group transshipped 18 602 thousand tonnes of liquid cargo, including 12 682 thousand tonnes of crude oil; 5 760 thousand tonnes of refined oil products; 105 thousand tonnes of UAN, and 55 thousand tons of vegetable oils.

Crude oil volumes were 2.6% or 342 thousand tonnes less than that of same period last year. Oil products volumes increased by 199 thousand tonnes or 3.6% year-on-year. Volumes' growth at Novorossiysk was restrained by bad weather, while transshipment at Primorsk was in line with plan.

Bulk Cargo

Transshipment of bulk cargo in January-February 2016 increased by 504 thousand tonnes or 31.4% year-on-year and reached 2 109 thousand tonnes, despite adverse weather effect.

Thanks to favorable market conditions transshipment of grain increased by 269 thousand tonnes or 30.9% year-on-year, and amounted to 1 140 thousand tonnes for 2M 2016, versus 871 thousand tonnes same period of 2015, when restrictive export duties on grain were introduced in February 2015.

Iron ore volumes in the reporting period increased by 241 thousand tonnes or 117.4% year-on-year and reached 446 thousand tonnes.

Volumes of chemical cargo and coal increased 5.1% and 21.9% year-on-year, and amounted to 199 and 284 thousand tonnes respectively.

Transshipment of sugar reduced materially due to low demand on expensive imported raw cane sugar and good domestic harvest of sugar beet.

General Cargo

Transshipment of general cargo in 2M 2016 comprised 2 247 thousand tonnes. Volumes of ferrous metals and pig iron increased by 63 thousand tonnes or 3.3% year-on-year and amounted to 1 959 thousand tonnes. Volumes of non-ferrous metals increased 15.1% year-on-year to 182 thousand tonnes. Transshipment of timber, perishable and other cargo totaled 105 thousand tonnes.

Container Cargo

NCSP Group's container traffic in January-February 2016 totaled 857 thousand tonnes and 81.5 thousand TEU, increasing 23.3% and 13.5% year-on-year respectively.
