Statement regarding National Express Group plc ("National Express")
Stagecoach notes today's announcement by National Express that the consortium comprising funds advised by CVC Capital Partners and interests of the Cosmen family (together, the "Consortium") no longer intends to make an offer to acquire National Express.
Accordingly, Stagecoach confirms that it is no longer in discussion with the Consortium regarding the possible acquisition by Stagecoach from the Consortium of the UK Bus and UK Rail operations of National Express.
