National Champion at the European Business Awards

Globo plc (LSE-AIM: GBO) the international mobile solutions and SaaS provider, has been selected as a National Champion for the prestigious European Business Awards 2012/13.

The European Business Awards (EBA) showcases Europe's most successful, innovative and ethical businesses from a diverse range of industries across the continent. The EBA engages with over 15,000 organisations in over 30 countries, competing for eleven awards.

Globo has been selected as one of the National Champions who will go forward into the next round of the prestigious 2012/13 Awards programme. They will compete with the very best businesses in Europe for the coveted Ruban d'Honneur status, from which the winner for each of the eleven categories will be chosen.

This highly regarded accolade recognises Globo's successful international expansion in delivering mobile applications, driven by the company's proprietary cloud technology, to both the consumer and enterprise markets.

Its consumer products, CitronGO! and GO!Social, are now being offered in 25 countries across four continents with demand continuing to grow..

More recently, Globo entered the enterprise market through the launch of GO!Enterprise Server, a product that mobilises enterprises across any mobile device, technology or network, delivering competitive advantage and operational efficiencies to customers responding to the "Bring Your Own Device" (BYOD) trend.
