Namib Lead Zinc Silver Project Update

North River is pleased to report that it has submitted an application for a Mining Licence for the Namib Lead zinc silver mine with the Ministry of Mines and Energy in Namibia. The Company has also applied for a renewal of the EPL 2902, in which the mine is located and which contains a number of near mine exploration targets integral to the project.

Work on the Feasibility Study has been delayed due to the slow completion of metallurgy testing. In the meantime we are continuing to perform value optimisation on the various studies. The Company currently anticipates the study to be completed in approximately two months and will keep shareholders informed of future developments.

The Company has today posted a video entitled 'Namib mine site visit' on its website. This provides investors with an up-to-date and detailed site visit and presentation of all major aspects of the project. It is narrated by North River staff and consultants and lasts around 20 minutes.

Martin French, Managing Director, said, "The submission of the Mining License at Namib is a significant development milestone for the Namib Lead Zinc Silver Project. We had hoped to finalise the Feasibility Study at the same time. However, this is a complex set of reports and it is important to bring all the elements together properly by review. We hope investors and other interested parties take the opportunity to watch through our video, a "virtual site visit" we have just completed at the Namib project."
