Name change to Barryroe Offshore Energy plc

Dublin and London: 20th September 2022. Further to a resolution of the shareholders at its AGM on 27th July 2022, the Board of Providence Resources P.l.c. (PVR), the Irish based energy company, confirms that its name change to Barryroe Offshore Energy plc, is anticipated to take effect on 27th September 2022.

The Company's new ticker will be BEY as of 27th September 2022 and the website address, (including the investor relations content and the information required by AIM Rule 26), will be available at www.barryroeoffshoreenergy.com

The Company's ISIN (IE00B66B5T26) and SEDOL (B64N1D6) will remain the same.

Shareholders will be unaffected by the change of name and existing share certificates should be retained and will remain valid. Any new share certificates issued after the name change takes effect will bear the name Barryroe Offshore Energy plc.
