Advanced Medical Solutions Grp PLC28 November 2005 Advanced Medical Solutions Group plc ("AMS" or "the Company") Winsford MP Guest of Honour at opening of Advanced Medical Solutions' new manufacturing line Winsford, UK: Advanced Medical Solutions Group plc (AIM: AMS), the globalwoundcare technology company, hosted a visit from local MP Stephen O'Brien, theShadow Minister for Skills and Higher Education, who was the guest of honour atthe official opening of Winsford based AMS' new manufacturing line on Friday 25November 2005. In response to increased demand for its wound dressings, in particular itsspecial seaweed derived alginate product, AMS has made a £300,000 investment innew manufacturing equipment and clean room capacity at the company's premises inWinsford. This investment is to provide further capacity to support thecontinued growth of the AMS business, in particular a range of value productsoffered directly to the NHS. Mr O'Brien's visit was hosted by Dr. Don Evans, CEO, who introduced him to keymembers of the management team before undertaking a tour of the company'spremises and officially opening the new manufacturing line and meeting membersof the project team. Shadow Minister for Skills and Education Stephen O'Brien said: "I was delighted to be able to join the management team and members of staff atthe official opening of the company's new facilities, which include a new cleanroom and manufacturing equipment to increase production capacity andproductivity at the factory. "Advanced Medical Solutions Group is making excellent progress and demand forthe special seaweed based dressings that they manufacture at their site inWinsford is continuing to grow.
