Genus PLC12 October 2007 For Immediate Release12 October 2007 Genus plc (the "Company") Notification of proposed AIM de-listing and Admission to the Official List Genus plc, a world leading animal genetics company, is pleased to announce thatits intended move from the London Stock Exchange's AIM market ("AIM") to theOfficial List (the "Admission") will take place on 12 November 2007. The Company gives notice under rule 41 of the AIM Rules that cancellation ofadmission of the Company's shares to trading on AIM will take placesimultaneously with the admission of the Company's shares to trading on theOfficial List which is expected to become effective at 8.00 a.m. on 12 November2007. The Board determined that Genus' shareholders should be given the opportunity toconsider the proposed move and a resolution to approve the Admission was passedat the Company's Annual General Meeting held on 16 November 2006.
