22nd September 2014 Pantheon International Participations PLC Performance update at 31st August 2014 Pantheon International Participations PLC ("PIP") announces an unaudited netasset value ("NAV") per share at 31st August 2014 of 1,443.0p, an increase of69.9p (5.1%) from the NAV per share as at 31st July 2014 and driven byportfolio valuation gains (51.3p, 3.7%), investment income (3.1p, 0.2%) andforeign exchange gains (17.2p, 1.3%). Expenses reduced the NAV per share by-1.7p (-0.1%). PIP's valuation policy for private equity funds is based on the latestvaluations reported by the managers of the funds in which PIP has holdings. Inthe case of PIP's valuation at 31st August 2014, the majority of reportedvaluations (accounting for circa 91% by value) are dated 30th June 2014. At 31st August 2014, PIP's private equity assets stood at £863m, whilst cashbalances were £88m. Undrawn commitments to investments stood at £208m at 31stAugust 2014, calculated using exchange rates at that date. In addition, theCompany's multi-currency revolving credit facility agreement, comprising aUS$82m facility and a €57m facility, remained completely undrawn. PIP's portfolio generated net cash of £17.5m during the month, withdistributions of £20.5m relative to £3.0m of calls from existing commitments toprivate equity funds. PIP completed two new investments during the month. A £9.5m secondaryinvestment in a European buyout fund that was 76% funded and a £6.0m primarycommitment to ABRY Partners VIII, a US buyout fund.
