Mondi plc ordinary shares reclassified as domestic assets on the JSE Limited for South African Investors

This changes the ruling made at the time of Mondi's demerger, and as detailed in the Prospectus dated 1 June 2007, which classified the secondary listing of Mondi plc ordinary shares on the JSE Limited as foreign assets in the hands of South African investors.
The reclassification is effective immediately.
All other conditions stipulated by the South African Ministry of Finance at the time of approval of the dual listed structure as set out in the Prospectus remain unchanged.
