Stream Group PLC12 April 2006 12 April 2006 STREAM GROUP PLC ('Stream' or the 'Group') Stream welcomes HSBC announcement on mobileATM launch Stream Group plc, the mobile applications and content enabler, welcomes theannouncement from HSBC Bank plc that HSBC and First Direct will be the firstbanks to offer customers the next generation of mobile phone banking later thisyear, when their services go live on the MONILINK network. MONILINK is a new UKmobile banking platform from mobileATM, the joint venture between the UK's cashmachine network, LINK and Morse plc. MONILINK will make use of Stream's MChexplatform. Stream's acquisition of MChex in 2005 established Stream as an integral part ofthe MONILINK service, with the MChex platform performing consumer billingservices on behalf of MONILINK and with Stream earning a revenue share on mobilebanking transactions. Commenting on the announcement, Gordon Robson, Chief Executive of Stream Groupplc, said: "We are delighted that HSBC has formally announced its intent to use theMONILINK network. Cash machines are used in this country for millions of balanceenquiries each month.
