FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

7 October 2008

Globo plc

MAJOR NEW PRODUCT ANNOUNCED FOR MOBILE MARKET

Globo plc ("Globo"; LSE-AIM: GBOwww.globoplc.com), a leader in the Information and Communications Technology market in Greece and a SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions provider, has announced that it is to launch CitronGO!™.

CitronGO! is believed to be one of the first of a new breed of open'cloud', mobile communication software solutions that will provide personal and professional users with true ubiquitous computing on a single screen on any mobile phone or laptop - regardless of manufacturer, vendor or network.  It is currently in Beta Testing and commercial launch is scheduled for early 2009.

CitronGO! has been developed from Globo's existing e-business, communications and SaaS proprietary technologies. The key features include:

All applications integrated onto a single screen - including social networking sites
Synchronises data over the air (OTA) to provide:

- Push email

- Push contacts

- Push calendars

- Instant messaging

- Web storage 'cloud'

- Web 2.0 - social networking accounts

- File conversion

Research by Globo highlighted that users want an 'all-in-one solution' that provides an instant email experience, but are unwilling to change their handset for one of the specialised handheld devices.  CitronGO!'s capabilities mean it can be downloaded onto an individual's existing mobile phone or be accessible by any web browser on laptop or PC - enabling a professional or personal user to benefit from interaction with a wide range of services which include email, calendars, contacts, instant messaging and folders.  CitronGO! brings together corporate and personal spaces - such as FaceBook - onto a 'single screen', synchronises data and shares applications over the air (OTA) to provide a complete 'push' experience.

Costis Papadimitrakopoulos, Globo's CEO, commented: "Today, with more than three billion mobile subscriptions globally, the mobile handset is becoming the ultimate personal device for ubiquitous computing.  CitronGO! introduces a new layer of interaction for end-users who can easily personalise the way they want to communicate with others - so as to 'share' moments of their personal and professional life from anywhere, at anytime and using any device including their existing mobile phone.

"Building on our existing proprietary technologies, CitronGo! will represent a significant extension to our business when it is launched commercially in 2009."

CitronGO! will be available as a 'Software as a Service'. This will enable telecoms providers, operators, mobile phone manufacturers and ISPs to offer CitronGO! to their customers as part of a bundled service.  Businesses and OEMs will be able to incorporate CitronGO! into their corporate infrastructure as a fully licensed service to offer these same benefits to their employees for use on their corporate mobile phones.  Software companies and resellers will be able to provide the service as a third party.  Globo also intends to enable CitronGO! to be downloadable directly via the Globo website.

Potential users can have their first 'user experience' of CitronGO! via a 'walkthrough' on the Globo website.  A Positioning Paper is also available and can be downloaded from www.citrongo.com.
