Hugo Bovill
Further to the announcement made by Treatt PLC ("Treatt") on 15th August 2012, it is confirmed that Hugo Bovill's employment with the Company ceased with effect from 31st October 2012.
Hugo has been Group Managing Director since 1987 during which time he has overseen an increase in the turnover of the business from £9m to £74.5m and expansion into the USA, Kenya and India, in which the Company has subsidiaries. The business, which manufactures and supplies conventional, organic and fair trade ingredients to the flavour, fragrance and cosmetic industries has a strong customer base, selling to over 90 countries worldwide.
Commenting, Tim Jones, Chairman of Treatt plc said "The Board would like to thank Hugo for his contribution over many years, to the growth of the Treatt Group. Hugo has guided the Company into a good position with a strong underlying business"
Hugo Bovill said "I would like to thank all the group's employees for their support and loyalty over the last 36 years."
