Merger update

The OFT has decided, on the information currently available to it, that a relevant merger situation, under the provisions of the Enterprise Act 2002, has not been created in the following mergers:

Completed acquisition by Capita Group plc of NorthgateArinso's pensions administration business

Anticipated acquisition by Lonza Group Ltd of Arch Chemicals, Inc.

The text of these decisions will be placed on the Office of Fair Trading's web site at www.oft.gov.uk as soon as is reasonably practicable.
