Initial undertakings

On 7 November, the OFT has accepted hold separate undertakings given by DCC PLC and DCC Energy UK Limited and Butler Fuels Limited under section 71 of the Enterprise Act 2002. The undertakings are without prejudice to OFT's ongoing investigation into the completed acquisition by DCC Energy UK Limited of certain oil distribution businesses previously owned by Total Downstream UK PLC and being sold by Rontec Investments LLP.

The text of these undertakings will be placed on the Office of Fair Trading's website at www.oft.gov.uk as soon as is reasonably practicable.
