Merger Discussions

Ahead of today's AGM, the Company wishes to announce that it is currently considering whether a merger of the Company with Amati VCT 2 plc is in the best interest of shareholders. Discussions are ongoing between the two companies' Boards. Whether a merger is proposed or not, the Boards of both VCTs are intending to launch a joint fundraising with a Prospectus to raise an amount in the region of £20m between the two VCTs later this year.

A further announcement will be made in due course once plans are finalised.
